Five Pillars · One Legacy
Everything the Foundation does flows from the objects of its charter — and from one promise: that talent born in India's villages will never again have to beg for its chance.
Flagship Initiative · In Development
The dream Khashaba carried to his last day — a world-class wrestling academy in his own village — is the Foundation's founding project. Planned for Goleshwar, District Satara, the academy will combine traditional kusti values with modern mat wrestling, sports science, nutrition and education, so that rural Maharashtra can raise Olympians on home soil.
The Foundation invites governments, federations, corporates and well-wishers to join this landmark project as partners.
Pillar One
Our charter empowers us to open and support academies, centres and players across the full breadth of Olympic and Indian sport — wrestling first, and beyond it more than forty indoor and outdoor disciplines, from kabaddi and kho-kho to archery, boxing and athletics — every arena where an Indian child can dream.
Pillar Two
Building and running the physical foundations of sport — grounds, stadiums, turfs, gyms, equipment and training facilities — together with healthcare, wellness and coaching support. Facilities may be built, owned, arranged or leased, and opened to academies, matches and community sport.
Pillar Three
Khashaba's own story shows what happens when a champion is left to fend for himself. The Foundation's charter commits it to welfare services — for players first, and for communities broadly: food camps, shelter, medical services, and physical and mental well-being programmes.
Pillar Four
Working as a platform — a special purpose vehicle and common service centre — with government and non-government bodies to deliver welfare schemes, entrepreneurship development and employment-generation programmes that lift sporting communities.
Pillar Five
Researching, writing and publishing the biographies of India's sportspersons — so no hero is forgotten the way Khashaba nearly was. This begins with the preservation and digitisation of the Khashaba Jadhav archive itself.
Approach
Programmes roll out in deliberate phases — beginning in Khashaba's own Satara–Sangli belt and growing outward — each phase published on this site as it launches.
With sports federations, schools and colleges, CSR programmes, and central and state government schemes — the Foundation is built to be a platform, not an island.

From Intent to Impact
Fund a programme, propose a partnership, offer land, coaching or expertise — every contribution builds the road from akhada to podium.
The Story Behind the Foundation
Khashaba Jadhav's complete story — the village akhada, London 1948, the bout-by-bout record of Helsinki 1952, the homecoming, and the honour India still owes him — is preserved at our dedicated legacy archive.
